2015 Panto Facts

Our panto and Christmas show season is over, so here's our interesting facts for this year's productions. Here's what it takes to make it all happen.... (it's utterly epic when you look at it in numbers!):

  • 16 shows
  • 278 children in the babes teams
  • 640 performances
  • 982 staff working on the shows (venue staff and our teams - not including all the parents fetching and carrying the babes!)
  • 7,498 scene changes
  • 11,474 bows taken
  • 35,300 metres (or 35.3 km) of tickets printed
  • 40,852 miles travelled by the head office team during the season (that’s 1¾ times around the world!)
  • 55,751 costume changes
  • 71,630 minutes of performances (or 1,193.8 hours, 49.7 days or 7.1 weeks)
  • 117,700 Lighting cues were given the ‘go’
  • 1,572,246 stairs were climbed back stage
  • The Imagine HQ team watched 175 shows (with still more to watch)
  • And 324,708 of you saw one of our shows
