It's been a fantastic show, and we've had alot of fun. Thanks so much to the cast and crew, but mostly to the team from the Lyceum Theatre. Thank you for making us so welcome yet again!
We're really looking forward to being back in December 2009 with Sleeping Beauty!

The set is going in
28th November 2008
The set goes in, watched by Director Rob. The Giant is rigged in his storage space - from some bars in the fly tower in the roof of the theatre.
The Lycem has one of the steepest raked stages in the country. We want to use one of WISH's BIG walking animatronic Giants on the stage so we've had to build an 'anti rake'. This means that the back half of the stage has been flattened. As a result, the Giant can walk on it. What it does mean though is that there has to be two steps on the stage, where the 'normal' stage at the front meets the 'anti rake' at the back. The fact the two steps are so high shows you just how steep the Lyceum's rake really is.
The cast sit in the auditorium and watch the set go in, while Pete finds his new home in the orchestra pit, with all his keyboards and the other band members
The cast start to rehearse on the stage (L-R - Lynne, Nicola, Carolynne, Pablo, Kevin, Kerry)
More rehearsal photos are coming through

Absoultely hilarious - the 'make your own snowman using toilet roll' competition! Lynne was 'wrapping' Frazer while Kerry was 'wrapping' Crewe's carnival Queen! Looks like Kerry won then?!

Rehearsals have started!
17th November 2008
Our roving report on the road (and show choreographer!), Lou Redmond, will be keeping us up to date with photos and images from rehearsals! Sorry if the quality isn't brill - Lou is taking photos while dancing some times!! Lou will be snapping daily so we'll try and keep as many photos coming as we can.
Yes, rehearsals are now under way. Lynne flew into the UK for mid-day on Sunday 16th November and was quite jet lagged for her first day of rehearsal. All the cast and crew turned up (thank fully!) for the first day and got straight into the important business of eating a welcome buffet! Following that, it was time for a read through and for rehearsals to commence.

Some great stories on Pablo...
8th October 2008
So, you're coming to see Jack and the Beanstalk at Crewe and you think you've never heard of Pablo Raybould. Well think again! Very shortly, Pablo will to appear in "Britannia High" the new ITV hit show. Don't say we didn't warn you!
Also, watch out for the new Royal Mail Christmas stamps. Can't say any more at present, but believe us, if you're sending 2nd class post Christmas cards this year, you're going to see A LOT of Pablo!!
Then to top it off, he's also going to be on your screens this Christmas in the Argo advert.
So you think you don't know Pablo Raybould... well, as we said before, think again!!
It's big, it's mean and it's coming to a billboard near you!
